Condor Ferries Sold To Bank
Channel Islands Condor Ferries has been sold to an investment bank.
The Condor Group will now be owned by the Macquarie Group which already runs the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and Wightlink Ferries to the Isle of Wight.
It has infrastructure investments in energy, water, telecommunications and transport sectors around the world.
Condor has five ships which operate from Weymouth, Poole, Portsmouth and St Malo. It has been serving the islands since 1947. The deal is subject to the approval of the Jersey Competition regulatory Authority
