Evidence?

What did you have?

How were the chips & the batter?

Do they serve Haggis - if not they are sacked?!?!?

It's all in the details, so spit it out!

Cod n Chips.

Chips were lovely, better then any where I can think of & prob better then Hector's chips before they went down hill.

Cod lovely again in a nice crispy light batter, perfect.

Don't know about haggis but probably do as they have a big menu.

Defo worth checking out, the proof is in the queue, there's always a big queue there.

Hectors is really variable, sometimes awesome, sometimes awful.

Grand Vaux chips are consistently 85%

Snow Hill consistently 20%, ugly slimey things

Gorey, didn't like at all

Belmont Road about 70%, very slow service

No chips now, given them up for Lent

Yeah. When we first moved back, mid last year, I had fond memories of hectors - we went once and it was amazing. Then we went again and it was amazingly bad.

Have never had the guts to try Snow Hill - just didn't look like a good idea! Might have to stick to going to BBQ Boss when I want stuff+chips!

Had a takeaway from Hectors again the other day (gave 'em another chance), and it was rubbish

Robin Hood's chips are better than those were!!
