Default Crowcroft To Stand For Chief Minister

Constable Crowcroft will announce today that he's standing for Chief Minister in Jersey.

Earlier this month Simon Crowcroft stated he wouldn't put himself forward for the position because he wanted to devote his time to the parish.

It's believed Constable Crowcroft has now had a change of heart and will be looking for support in his attempt to get the top political job.

This is a turn up for the book, what does everyone think of this?

Is it a good idea?

I'm not surprised, imagine he had said a while ago that he was thinking of it, Terry(b)le Sueur and Cookie Crew would have him bad named all over the Island before the elections. I wouldn't be surprised if they still try it.

I agree, better than Le Sewer and Philip (GST 28) Ozouf.
Think he is setting himself up for severe poo though.
Brave bloke!
