Very few turned up I suspect, otherwise we would have been reading about it in a carefully crafted article on another forum
The fact is that if something like this is organised at a lunchtime in the Royal Square (like the vigil / protest thing) the majority of people there will just be passers-by or shoppers who wander over to see who's making the noise, before moving on. Its an easy way to give the appearance of a lot of people turning up, and does not IMHO accurately reflect public opinion. Even then Royal Square event last week was poorly attended as a "political protest".
It is the meetings that are organised to take place in the sticks (like Havre des Pas for instance) that do accurately portray the true picture.... because they will be attended by those who really can be bothered. Despite all the noise being made for Walker to resign (by a relative hard core few dare i guess) it wouldn't surprise me if the overwhelming majority of people are happy.
