A widespread rumour is circling Jersey soccer circles that one of their favourite sons is to make a dramatic return to the game. Some of the players ex team mates have expressed their shock at news the player known for his ball skills, passing ability and dribbling was to return after a few years away from the game,

Player one said....Ball skills!I once saw him pot the black off two cushions to win a pound, absolutely brilliant.

Player two said....Passing ability! I've never seen a bloke passing up on his round like him, Uncanny.

Player three said....Dribbling! It was unreal, 3-4 pints and the damp patch on his t-shirt below his chin was just incredible.

On hearing that he was participating in a five-a-side match this week his old manager said.......If he lies in the goal mouth on his side with his hand in the air his opponents have no chance of getting a ball past his considerable frame, and with his mate Jimmy up front! Shit is the bookies open i'm having a tenner on 0-0!

one can assure you all that the only thing this underfed tenement spawn has in common with the "white feather" is the hair colour!

While i am still in posession of a little skill due to being a good 12 years younger than our resident currant bun the same cannot be said for him....having passed his 40th year some 5 years ago now his bones have started to squeak like the springs on a knocking shop bed and altzheimers has affected his positional sense so much that he can now no longer find his way home let alone a team mate on a darting run!

The only thing football about jimmy is that he shares the same balding haircut as chief blue ned kris boyd!
