Default Liverpool

Just smashed there transfer record with the capture of Torres

So my question is do you think they can finally mount a credible challenge for the prem league title?

Woop Woop, what a great signing, i dont think he will score as many goals as people think, but he will drap defenders all over the place and allow the space for others to score, thats something Liverpool have been missing for a long time, I definately think the might Pool will pose a big threat to Man U and Chelse this year.

Torres is hopefully back today for the visit of Arsenal.
Although Arsenal have been playing brilliant football it shouldn't be overlooked that they have played 6 of there 9 games in the Premier League this season at home and two of the away games were in London. The one time they played outside London was the only time they have dropped points in a draw with Blackburn.
I fancy Liverpool today and would back them heavily if it wasn't for Sammi Hyppia having to play at the back for at least another week or so.
It's a big test for Arsenal and will show if they really are the real thing this season.I think they play Man Utd next week as well.

Well the league is a bit funny this year and doesn't tell a true story.
Man City had only played three away until yesterday and have won all their home games. Look what happenend to them.
Don't get me wrong..... Arsenal are playing some brilliant football and im not knocking them, but the next couple of weeks will show just how good they are. A couple of losses could knock those young players confidence.
Also, a win for Liverpool and players returning could bring them back into the equation. I just worry about Sammi Hyppia against some of Arsenal's brilliant intricate passing.

i think torres could be the vital part today for liverpool, he would keep the arsenal midfield busy and could help free space up for liverpool to get in, i think the arsenal midfield has been brilliant this season so far cutting through teams with ease, stop them and you will probably stop arsenal.

Just got back from the match and I have to say I was very impressed with Arsenal. I think they have improved physically from last year and won't be bullied out of games this season. I have to be happy with a draw in the end after Arsenal hitting the post a couple of times, but Liverpool might have held on to take the points had they not lost Alonso through injury.
Arsenal where missing one of their best players in Van Persie also so can't complain.
Im off to the bookies tomorrow to back Arsenal for the title.
