Choice 4/10

As you would imagine being a sea front restaurant they have a great selection of fresh local fish dishes on the menu, If fish is not your thing they do have a small selection of meat dishes.
If like me the whole reason for going out for a meal is a nice desert, then you may be disappointed as they only had 3 to choose from.

Presentation 8/10

It is a refreshing change to see such good presentation with not only the food but the decor and table settings. (The waiters & waitresses mucky old trainers not withstanding.)

Service 10/10

The staff seemed very friendly and courteous, which was put to the test when I unfortunately had to send back my main course because it was too cold. Our waitress was very professional.

Food 6/10

I ordered the Homemade burger & fries and my date had the ribs.
The ribs literally fell off the bone, and were cooked to perfection in a wonderful sauce.
The burger on the other hand was definitely homemade! The burger itself was a very generous size, which is not a bad thing but there were far too many items in the bun to go with it. The burger was very over seasoned and spicy. The fries were again cooked very well, just the size and texture that fries should be.


Overall Score 28/40

I think I was just unlucky with my choice of main course as other people seemed to really enjoy their food. Considering they have only been open a few weeks one or two teething problems are expected.
I will be back in a month or so to give them time to maybe expand their menu and work out the kinks.

This place is a bit up and down i have had a few nice meals only once like yourself i have had to send it back to get heated up. I would go back though.

Yeah I will be going back within a few weeks, I'm a firm believer in second chances.
