What a great place for a light lunch after having a look round this lovely little fish market, you order at the counter choosing from the fantastic fresh fish selection and can enjoy some of the best local fish with a glass of wine.

Its a lot better now under new management. I went a few times before and althought the food was superb the service left a lot to be desired but got to say its one of the best around

When did the management change ?

We've eaten there a couple of times. The first time was about a year ago, the wife ordered a whole crab and that's exactly what she got ! It wasn't picked, not even cracked !!!

We went back about 6 weeks ago on the off chance. It took almost a hour for our starter and that was only because we asked if was going to be any longer. My starter was supposed to be king prawn piri piri, but tasted more like black bean !! I ordered the "surf & turf" which sounded excellent. The "turf" was supposed to be a filet steak, but I got a tiny piece of what I think was minute steak. It was only that I sat there with the excuse for a steak on my fork, saying "this isn't filet steak !!" that I got another piece and £3 off the bill.

I really do hope it's changed I quite like the place, well the atmosphere anyway !

Hello, my first post.

I have had 2 terrible meals there. Badly cooked seafood and a very long wait for anything.

However i am told it is better under new management.

I hope so, i still wont go back until someone i know personally has gone and had a great dining experiance there.

I've been past a few times, I have to say it looks the dogs and it always looks busy, but my experiences of the old one are putting me off.

I was in here Tuesday night for a meal. The food was excellent but the service wasn't that good. We had to wait around 25mins just to get a drink before we even thought about ordering.

Yeah, it doesn't bode well for the place. Especially, as they have Mr Dynamo - Jorge from Blues running front of house.

Friends went there the other Friday, straight from work. They thought the portions were small, prices were high and the service, slow. They had to ask for the bill 3 times and actually didn't get out of the place until gone 10pm !

Like I say, doesn't bode well. It's a shame because the place "looks" excellent.
