Since January 2007 the Hotel de France has also become a non-smoking hotel.

The Hotel de France will be closed from the 19th December 2007 and will re-open on the 7th January 2008. We wish all our guests a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year and look forward to welcoming them back in 2008.

Children One child under the age of 12 years, sharing a room with two adults will be charged at £15.00 per night on a Bed and Breakfast basis. Additional children in the room are charged at £25.00 per night. A minimum of two children under 12 years occupying a separate twin room are charged at 50% of the appropriate adult rate. This is subject to a minimum of two accompanying adults occupying a separate twin/double room. Single room are not available for children under this arrangement.

Free night (not available in conjunction with any other offer or promotion) During the period 1st January to 31st March and 1st November to 31st December (excluding Christmas and New Year periods) one free night will be applicable to those guests staying a minimum of three nights, i.e. 3 nights for the price of two. The stay must include a Saturday or Sunday night. During the period 1st April to 30th June and 4th September to 31st October one free night will be applicable to guests staying a minimum of four nights i.e four nights for the price of 3. Arrival may be on any day of the week including a Saturday or Sunday.

Deposit A non-refundable deposit equal to the first nights accommodation is required to confirm a booking and is applicable as cancellation charge is booking is cancelled prior to 48 hours notice. Cancellation within 48 hours will be subject to 100% of the total booking.
