Question Getting around Jersey

Can anyone tell me if it is easy to see most of Jersey using Public Transport, I got a leaflet from Tantivy Coaches for a day trip for £15.00 along with my tickets, is that good value?. I will be arriving in Jersey next Wednesday and would like to do some sight seeing I will be there for a week and am hoping it will be nice enough to see all the lovely beaches I have heard about.

Yes the bus tours are very good to see the Island, if you are staying at a hotel they have all the leaflets. You could just hire a car and see it yourself, that is probably the best wat to see it

Just returned from Jersey it was very nice, saw quite a lot also did the boat trip, managed to find Irn Bru although it is more expensive than back home, stayed at the Merton Hotel which was very good and was lucky with the weather most days, thanks for the replies to my questions it was very helpful, don't know if I will ever be back to Jersey, only went because of a Country Music event held at the Merton, but I enjoyed my trip.

Glad you had a good time.... any other impressions of the island you could share with us? What was good about the place and what was bad? Is it just the cost that would put you off returning?

The days of Jersey being a cheap holiday destination are long gone. It used to be expensive to get here but cheap when you got here. I think now it is still very expensive to get here, the same cost as going to New York for instance, where would you rather go? Everything is very expensive compared to the UK now and you would struggle to find one thing that is cheaper.

Hi Paul you are right but where would you prefer to live? The wages paid in Jersey are somewhat more than you would get in the UK.
