HD Ferries announced today that they are suspending thier services from the islands from sunday!! It is not known if they plan to restart the services in the future!!
Looks like they've quit before the going got bad.
I can't see the States allowing them to "cherry pick" the lucrative summer trade and not take the rough with the smooth over the winter, so I doubt we'll see HD1 in the harbour again.
Back to a monopoly then. Get used to being gouged, travellers.
Now we have to use Condor at vastly over rated prices, don't you just love the Channel Islands some times. No-way they will be allowed back after this, then again who knows.
