We will be putting a similar message on Planet Jersey shortly.

But we will not tolerate people coming onto our Forum slagging off other websites just because people have been barred from them.

From time to time we will contact the hosts of other websites if we feel a poster is trolling or deliberately trying to use one forum to belittle another.

We are not interested to be honest and Planet Jersey, CI Forums and even isthisjersey have their differences but they compliment each other in some kind of way. And if people believe there is a popularity competition here then they have no idea. So if people are reading this and they believe they can come onto Planet Jersey and slag either this site off or any others be prepared to have your account closed. We are simply not interested in this kind of thing.

That is a very good idea Jason barred from one barred from them all. It would all depend on what you got barred for though, as we have noticed some forums have different rules to others. I do like your thinking though.

Not sure where i got that from, i guess i must have read the post wrong. Maybe it is just my wishfull thinking.

Well we had a disgruntled person on yesterday who claimed to be barred from here and was basically slagging this Forum off on our Forum. These disagreements have nothing to do with debate. If somebody is barred from either Forum they could have only broken the rules. I do not want Planet Jersey used as some kind of 'safe haven' for these people. If people want to slag our Forum off like they have done on isthisjersey then they can stay on there. We really are not interested in peoples gripes. It is unproductive and actually boring. The reviews on the BBC website have gone beyond a joke because we have not been writing them and we can only conclude that some people are deliberately trying to cause friction between the forums. This is not our objective and like I have said before there is no competition. I notice from time to time that people that have been barred slag me off. To be honest I don’t give a dam, but just don’t bother coming back, the Mods have a difficult job as it is and their decisions are final.
