I was 30mins late for work this morning due to this, it turns out a boat fell off someones trailer onto the road, what a nightmare, coupled with the road works down there it was chaos.

Did anyone else end up in this?

If lorry drivers can be fined for having insecure loads, does the same apply to boats on trailers? Or did the boat fall off *after* an incident, I wonder?

I nearly got caught in that myself this morning, i was lucky enough to turn off at LaMotte Ford and got to work via St Peters valley. As far as i know a car towing a boat lost the boat going round the filter in turn.
