pat Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 2 vCash: 500	how do i register a uk car on the island i hope someone can help me i am moving to the island soon and i would like to know what it costs to register my uk car on the island,what the procedure is and does it change over to a j plate i,ve had no luck with any phone numbers i have. any small piece of info would be great thanks

JSY Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 43 vCash: 500	I registered a car a few years ago and it cost me just over £100 to get a J plate. You can drive it in a UK plate for 6 month as far as i know then you have to register it.
