Right then, let's see how this turns out.
I'm looking at the 5 day forecast, and it's black cloud and rain for the whole 5 days to come (thur/fri/sat/sun/mon)! (Great summer, huh?)

Let's see what actually happens - to be continued............

I saw the local forecast on CTV. It showed, I think, the next 4 days where the highest the wind is going to get will be a force 3.

Hope they are right, but if their "journalism" is anything to go by, I don't believe a word of it and might start to batten down the hatches in preperation of a bloody hurricane!!

Well the first good hot day of the year and it was hazy most of the day. We could be in for a thunder storm tonight.

Day 2 of that forecast, and there's not much sign of rain yet.

I think that a raincloud symbol with sunrays on one side basically means that they don't have a freakin' clue!

Try magicseaweed.com Jersey Surf Report, Surf Forecast and Surf Webcams

They're pretty reliable and I know a few boat owners swear by them

Having had a brilliant weekend, and it's still hot and sunny today, Monday, I wonder if anyone at the met dept could understand my bewilderment that the forecast back on thursday was black cloud and rain symbols for the five days we've just had wonderful summer weather? And this is by no means the first time, either.

Yes, they seem to be able to manage the day ahead, but not the whole 5! I don't know why they bother with the 5 day one.

I know they charge companies for the 5 day one which is sent to them every day. Its not cheap either around £160 a month.
