Hi Everyone,

I would really love to have an allotment where I can grow my own Veg, does anybody know anything about finding one or if there is a waiting list I could go on to be eligible.

The new one up Mt Cochon is run by the RJA&HS so you could try asking them. The one at Les Maltieres near Gorey village probably has a 60 year waiting list

you have to become a member of the RJA&HS to get on the waiting list,
it does give you some discounts from local suppliers and free entry into the shows, you need to contact Pam Laurens on 866555 for application
I managed to get a plot at Mt Couchon, only thing is mr Fred Coen wont allow us sheds on the alotments, so they are called country gardens,
there is no bus service there as the roads are to narrow. hope you get one as its fantastic to eat veg you have watched grow from seeds :-)
P.S. Mt Couchon is not the quietest of places as all the aircraft pass low directley overhead on route to the airport
