CL!QUE have a very special night in store for their 2nd Birthday celebrations at Pure after a hugely successful last 12 months where they have firmly established themselves as key players in the local dance scene. For a small underground club night which first started out at Synergy Nightclub at the end of Nov'05, CL!QUE's reputation for putting on some of the most exciting and cutting edge nights the island has to offer has progressed at an almost meteoric rate in the space of almost 24 months, which culminated in a massive sell out show at the Splash in September with Mauro Picotto, and some outstanding nights at Pure with Rui Da Silva, Mistress De Funk and Mr C!
This month features an international guest Dj from Barcelona with Amnesia(Ibiza) resident, PACO OSUNA joining Carl and Pete in the main room, and Carrie Cooper & Dan Sharpe of Rojo's upstairs in the lounge!
Paco Osuna is CL!QUE's special guest on the 1st December and is very much at the forefront of the international house & techno scene having recently joined Richie Hawtins 'Minus' & 'Plus 8' label family aswell as launching his own label, 'Mindshake'. Hailing from Barcelona, his passion for music started out when he was just 14 when he was part of a regular crowd at Studio 54 which is where he first came into contact with acid house music. In '99 he secured a residency at Amnesia in Ibiza where he had a great opportunity to play alongside some of worlds the biggest djs and this is where he built his distinguished style of house & funky techno. Now, touring the world as a headliner in his own right with gigs at some of the most prestigous dance clubs around, including Fabric (London), Avalon (New York) & Goa (Rome), aswell as his CLUB 54 residency in Barcelona(where he plays alongside guests such as Christian Smith, Marco Carola, Mistress Barbara, Valentino Kanzyani, Adam Beyer, Ben Sims, Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, Mauro Picotto etc...) PACO OSUNA is a name you will come to remember!
