Default Havana Club steals Rock in the park name

As some of you may know, some local people have been organising an event in Howard Davis Park for the last 5 years called "Rock in the Park". Every year they get few bands together and put on a day of entertainment for the public to enjoy, the event is always free to attend has been a great success with attendance growing every year. It has always been a great opportunity for local bands, especially the younger guys to showcase their talent in front of large and varied crowds. The most important aspect of the day is the raising of as much money as possible for the chosen charity. All of the organizers take great pride in the hard work that is put in to making the event happen and of course all of the organizers, stewards and helping hands do it for free and look forward to putting on the event year after year. They get nothing but positive feedback from the authorities and all in all it is a fantastic day out for both the performers and the crowds! They have all worked very hard to raise the profile of the event..

Martyn Sayers of the Havana club has chosen to take all of this free effort and great reputation and register the name "Rock in the Park" for his own business purposes, planning to hold an event under this name in Peoples Park bringing over tribute acts from the UK and charging for entry, filling his own pockets with the proceeds and even gloating about his stealing of the event name (allegedly). I am sure i am not alone in thinking that this behavior is disgusting. they did not register the name with the Financial Services as there was and will never be any intention to profit from the event. In retrospect this should not have been overlooked but their priorities have always been to help others less fortunate than themselves and to have a bit of fun with local music.

Does anyone have any information as to what can be done about this?
