Just a note on the coop putting up prices before GST just to eek out more money from customers....absolute crap - i should know, i work for them!

if anyone watches the news or had taken time to google it you would know that the prices of oil, wheat, rice and a whole manner of staple items have gone throught the roof thus leading to price changes across the food retail sector - NOT just the coop!

Oil prices have a lot to do with the production of anything and everything we eat or use.

wheat and rice prices are continuing to spiral due to emerging nations such as china wanting and using more and more...

i know how the pricing structure works as i work as part of the team that sets it.

has anyone actually thought of asking whether or not we are cheating the customer...eh, no you have just assumed!

i have to pay GST just as every other jersey resident has to....and if i thought the company i worked for were taking the p*ss i wouldn't be happy either.
